• Gaining More Through Our Losses
Posted by Shade of the Moriah Tree
IN THE MIDST of trying seasons we are often prone to glance; longing to have back what we had in the past – be it certain close friends, fellowship in the faith, family ties, favorable circumstances, financial stability… What we are slow to realize is that as a result of our affliction, opposition, testing and refinings, God is building character and reinforcing the hope we have in Him. If we have grown in wisdom, we will discover that…
We see more clearer than we have ever done,
We are more free than we have ever been,
We have gained more than we have ever possessed,
Fulfilled more than we ever dreamed,
Overcome where once deemed impossible,
Waxed strong in faith and endured by seeing God – the conviction of things unseen which are eternal.
– M. A. Williams
