I did have a box of tapes in the storage shed with several boxes of books. I’ll go through those in a day or two. The cold and heat most likely hasn’t treated them well. If they are there, I’ll convert them to mp3’s or something and send you a few. I am up to date with your blog. Now I can go back to your earlier posts. You’ve posted some real treasures my friend. May you continue your walk in nearness to the only One worthy of our worship.

Thank you for your encouraging feedback, Dale. I do have more to write, some that have been waiting for months, but fresh thoughts come and oftentimes take the ‘front seat’

It truly is a fire Brother. A Holy Fire. On more than one occasion I said foolishly, things that should never enter the mind of a preacher, nor ever be spoken. Such as, ” I’ve had it, I’m finished, I shall never preach again !” Those kinds of words are no sooner spoken, by the flesh, in the midst of an emotional experience, then the sudden reality of the fire within you compels you to shout, ” I MUST, I MUST, WOE IS ME IF I PREACH NOT THE GOSPEL ! ” It brought about great fear in my heart, but as always, in seeking God’s face during those times of great emotional experiences His Word ALWAYS brought comfort.
Jeremiah went the the same experience.
Jeremiah 20:9 ” Then I said, I will not make mention of him, nor speak any more in his name. But his word was in mine heart as a burning fire shut up in my bones, and I was weary with forbearing, and I could not stay. ”
