• Ignorance and its Deprivation

LLoyd-Jones

A SHALLOW GRASP of sound Biblical doctrine and a weak appreciation for grounded theology is to be ignorant of Who God is and what He has done for us that inevitably deprives us of gazing, marvelling and revelling at His splendour, glory and majesty.

  2. Amen Brother. Most everything that I read was published before 1920. Did you know that the first forty years of the Southern Baptist Convention that every single one of their churches were established based on Reformed doctrine ? Now there are very few. Hobbs, that pinned, ” The Baptist Faith and Message,” that they look so highly on, actually took the blood oath of Freemasonry while he was president of the convention. Shameful ! Some of their church buildings are being shared as lodge halls.
Is it any wonder that so many are missing God Himself ?

    • My, my – I never knew that, Dale. I have heard of Freemasonry in a few churches over in Wales. It IS shameful. Had the Holy Spirit truly been in such churches, no evil would have been tolerated.

Hope you are keeping well, Brother.

  3. Compare much of today’s theology with those who have long passed and we see the kind of god that is hailed in our generation. We are missing God Himself!
