• Fact versus Fear

Everlasting

HOW UNFORTUNATE TO be more convinced by our forecastings, fears and feelings rather than being persuaded that God – Who shall never break His covenant with His people – ever watches over us, ever guides us, ever provides the best and will never abandon us nor ever remove from us His perfect and everlasting Fatherly-love.

  1. I have learned that I know absolutely nothing and therefore, I rely totally on God. I don’t try to predict the actions of others or what will happen to me. I spend less time worrying and more time praising. BUT…I am 51 years old. This mindset didn’t come to me overnight and I’m not saying I don’t let negative thoughts in at times, but I am ever-thankful that my God is all-knowing and ever-present. Great reminder.

  3. Amen Mark ! Good post.
I sometimes wonder what it was like for Jesus at the very moment that all our sins came upon Him while hanging on the cross. I am referring to our Savior in His humanity. He must have felt annihilated by the experience of feeling separated from God the Father for the first time, throughout all His eternal existence. I remember well what I felt like at the moment that I could clearly see my own sinfulness in God’s Glorious Light. With our Loving Lord, it was multiplied by an untold number of times. How could man, NOT BOW DONE IN WORSHIP OF GLORIOUS THE SON OF GOD THAT PAID SUCH A PRICE ? It brings me to dust to consider the price He paid for me.
ALL HONOR, PRAISE, and GLORY BE UNTO OUR KING !

    GOD BLESS YOU BROTHER MARK

    • Being crushed by God’s wrath was the most acute aspect of His suffering. I have recently pondered over the thought that no one in hell will know the multiplied anguish that Christ bore. Of course, we know that suffering eternal torment is impossible to imagine at present (the most horrific scenarios in this world will not compare with the depths of hell’s agony), but who else has taken the whole world’s sin upon them? That’s a multiplied and insurmountable debt He paid. It is overwhelming just considering that!

No wonder ‘repentance’ these days is so cheap; the cross is not preached; Christ is not proclaimed; the horror and crime of sin is not made known; people’s hearts are not broken and bereft for the agony they caused God.

Oh the hardness of the heart that does not perceive the glory of the cross. God’s grace brings us to the dust… “we who were dead in sin…He made alive”

      God breathe upon lost souls!

“Love so amazing, love so divine demands my soul, my life, my all.”

      God bless you too, Brother.
