Haha! Do you really? Or are you being sarcastic?
To be honest with you, Paul, I was conversing with my wife this morning on this issue and what I said had my wife cracking up laughing. The funny thing is, no pun was actually intended; it just came out that way and it’s a play on words.
And no, I’m not a rapturist, but I certainly expect the coming of our Lord to be very soon and we will do well to follow John’s exhortation, “And everyone who has this hope fixed on Him purifies himself, just as He is pure” (1 John 3:3).
Yeah, that’s all we need, eh? WE WERE LEFT BEHIND! AHHHHHH!
Oh well, when Christ returns, we will all be shocked!
I’m sure we will be. What folks need to be more concerned about is that when Christ comes He will not say, “I never knew you…” (Matthew 7:21-23).
Yep. I truly believe heaven will be a whole lot smaller in population than we think. I look forward to an eternity of worship, praise and thanksgiving to our gracious Lord Jesus Christ.
“For the gate is narrow and the way is hard that leads to life, and those who find it are few.” Our view of worship (generally speaking) needs to be radically altered. When we see Him as He is… we will be perfect worshippers then. Lord, give us a taste of it now.
Stamp eternity on our eyeballs!
