Nice thought my friend. I always think of affliction like this: a mother giving birth. She goes through immense pain to bring forth that beautiful child and when the nurse places that baby in her arms, she cries and wishes she could do it all over again.
Affliction is a beautiful thing, as through the pain, suffering and pressure, beautiful things are accomplished and God is glorified.
Great allegory there, Brother. Diamonds come from immense pressure, but not many realise that many are formed over hundreds of years, hidden in the darkness until they are found.
