Worldly ‘Christianity’ is no different than a dog returning to its vomit.

  1. Eww…anyone with a dog in the house has experienced this nasty habit. Saves on cleaning, but still…ugh.

Why do we return to our mire so easily when the palace of grace is so available to us?

    • “Saves on cleaning” – lol! That’s one of the wonders of having a dog in the house when food is dropped on the floor; utilises on electricity in not having to use the hoover all the time.

I know it’s an unpleasant image, but neither does truth always come in pleasant and nice ways.

That’s one of the big reasons as to why we encounter afflictions and God will not suffer His saving grace to be trampled underfoot; they keep us sober-minded, conscious of our frailty and how foolish we’d be were it not for His discipline.

      • Amen brother. And yes the dog gets the scraps which saves on garbage bags and makes for a happy pooch.

I tend to use interesting pics as well in order to convey a message. It’s important sometimes and images say so much more than words could.

      • True what they say that one image conveys a thousand words, trying to find an appropriate image, though, is not always easy, but it’s worth the time spent.

  2. Reblogged this on Fishing For Men.
