Love the picture! We are all being slowly squeezed into the mold of conforming to the image of Christ. I call it the Ever-Narrowing Way for a reason. We will all be crushed into glory and then and only then, we will be able to rest from our trials.
I like how one pastor said, ‘This life is the only hell Christians will ever know, and this is the only heaven that sinners will ever know’.
My apologies for delayed reply, brother. Great statement you quoted… I think by Edwards; this will be the only hell we know… but lamentably sad that this life is the only heaven to be experienced by those who continue to reject Christ. Brokenness is a gift from God and can take us a while to seek it and desire it. Thankfully, God’s grace starts the work in us and brings us to that place of desiring it.
